Otautahi Roller Derby League & Special Guests Present: The Rainbow Spite Roller Derby Bout

A Charity Fundraiser for Q-topia - Helping Queer Youth in Canterbury. 

Otautahi Roller Derby are kicking off their first full season with a charity bout to celebrate and raise money for Q-topia, a support group for Queer Youth in Canterbury.

With Guest skaters flying in to play in 'Rainbow Spite', the teams are as rainbow as our cause, with skaters from five different leagues participating. The teams are named after two of our favourite gay icons, Lady Gaga and Glee (the TV show). All profit from this will be given to Q-topia, so come and support a good cause, see some roller derby, and have a great time!

Doors open at 7pm, festivities begin at 8 and the bout begins at 8:30. There will be half time competitions and entertainment and prizes to be won including a brand spanking new pair of skates thanks to Aotearoller Skate Company, and a 3 month gym membership from Contours, Ferrymead.
