R18 Tickets from cosmic $15/$25 Door sales $25 MISH & GREEEN: Mish & Greeen (M&G), partners in crime, devoted audio fanatics and drum and bass connoisseurs have forged together an EP of serious heat. Appropriately, their first ever debut EP, entitled ' E=MC²' is exactly as it implies, packed full of pulsating energy. On January 5th, 2021 a flame was lit. This marked the occasion of M&G’s debut release on Noxious Records, an underground label from the UK stacked with thumping rollers and dancefloor mayhem. This sound appealed heavily to the tastes of the mad audio scientists M&G and instantly a partnership was born. The self titled track from the EP ‘E=MC²’ is a slow and chilled wobbler, infused with big brass and dreamy 80’s styled pads. It’s a track heavily influenced by a timeless drum and bass classic, ‘Take Me Away’ by Chase and Status and features a famous sample used by hip hop legend J Dilla featuring Common (produced originally by Giorgio Moroder). Next on the tracklist, ‘Hurt Me No More’ a crowd favourite and dancefloor smasher. Neurofunk and dancefloor are ruthlessly intertwined which will cause any raver to go into a frenzy. Its driving bassline and dirty party style synth will give plastic surgeons plenty of business after melting many faces. ‘Never Gonna Stop’ was the first track that M&G began over 2 years ago when both decided it was time to join forces and combine their knowledge and experience in the studio. A dancefloor banger dosed with delicious vocals and roaring basslines and synths. The final track on the EP, ‘Dragula’ is a neurofunk slammer, coated with tasty breaks and ripping basslines. Inspired by the original tune, ‘Dragula’ by rock legend Rob Zombie, this one goes out to the racers, car enthusiasts and drum and bass feins that like it heavy.
