From the Association that brought you “My Big Fat Indian Wedding”-the mega hit of 2016, comes our next installment- a story of self-discovery, friendship, laugher and a little bit of spicy drama.

Follow Aliya; an ambitious young village girl, as she explores the other side of the world with big dreams to match. Meet your typical Indian family, your classic witty and sarcastic grandfather, a loving yet strict father and an annoying older brother.
Aliya however, is not your average 18-year-old. She has stars in her eyes, and a strong will and determination unlike any other Indian girl you have ever seen.

Come experience this odyssey as she ventures through her first year of university spreading everything good about what it means to be Indian, maybe meet a special someone- as no story is complete without a little garam masala.
Aliya’s journey will face some major highs and major lows but ultimately, she will find out what it truly means to be a scarfie in Dunners.

She will meet friends for life, go to her first party, try to get a degree (that’s surprisingly not Health Sci) all while handling a crazy Indian family at the same time.

Come laugh, cringe and cry with us and discover what life truly has to offer her, something that Aliya and none of her friends will never see coming...

The Indian Student’s Association Presents “ALIYA” a journey that will keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Immerse yourself in one of the biggest, most anticipated cultural events of the year. And of course, it wouldn’t be Indian without dances, drama and whole lotta curry.
