THE NOMAD BRINGS 30 YEARS OF BASS CULTURE TO AOTEAROA

ReGenerate – 30 Year Anniversary NZ Tour

After three decades of making music, DJing and pushing Aotearoa’s bass culture forward, The Nomad returns to the road this October, November and early December for his national ReGenerate – 30 Year Anniversary NZ Tour.

Joined by MC Antsman and featuring immersive visuals from warpTV, the tour will bring The Nomad’s signature blend of dub, reggae, house, jungle and drum & bass to dancefloors across Aotearoa, with local support at each stop.

The tour celebrates the release of ReGenerate, a 16-track album marking 30 years of original music from one of New Zealand’s pioneering electronic artists. Beginning with Locust in 1996 and evolving into The Nomad in 1998, his journey has consistently crossed genres while remaining rooted in bass culture, experimentation and the dancefloor.

ReGenerate is more than a retrospective. It’s 30 years of sound, experience, experimentation and connection, regenerated for a new generation. Built through decades of studio production and live performance, the album reflects the sounds, people and communities that have shaped Aotearoa’s electronic music landscape.

The album will receive a deliberately limited physical release, with the complete 16-track record available on double vinyl, CD and cassette. The first pressing features just 300 copies of the double album on metallic red vinyl, making it a genuine collector’s edition. Only a selection of tracks will be released digitally, with the physical editions offering the complete album experience, from the sequencing and artwork through to the full musical journey.

Live, ReGenerate takes that history to the dancefloor. Expect heavy bass, dub, reggae, house, jungle and drum & bass, backed by MC Antsman’s energy and warpTV’s immersive visual production.

This isn’t just a DJ set. It’s 30 years of original music.
