NEW YEAR’S EVE IN PUNAKAIKI

Ring in 2027 on the wild West Coast with Oakley Grenell, Will GT, Jibba and Onthecoast Lighting at Punakaiki Rocks Hotel & Garden Bar.

Get ready to welcome 2027 with a night of live music, heavyweight grooves and electronic sounds in one of Aotearoa’s most spectacular coastal locations.

Set in the garden bar at Punakaiki Rocks Hotel, this New Year’s Eve celebration brings together international and local talent for five hours of music, running from 8pm until 1am.

Headlining the night is Melbourne-based musician and DJ Oakley Grenell, bringing his unique blend of live acoustic guitar, vocals and electronic sounds. Expect a special live performance followed by a DJ set, moving between organic rhythms and deep, dancefloor-driven beats.

Joining him is Nelson’s own Will GT, alongside Jibba (UK), delivering a diverse selection of sounds spanning house, drum & bass and electronica.

Adding to the atmosphere, Onthecoast Lighting will bring the visual energy to the garden bar, helping create a memorable summer night on the Coast as we count down to 2027.

With the rugged West Coast landscape as the backdrop, expect good people, great music and a proper garden party to welcome the New Year.
